Why did we create Out Of The Mouth Of Babes?

Out Of The Mouth Of Babes was conceived as a lifeline for parents grappling with the intricacies of nourishing their little ones. Crafted by four dedicated therapists who intimately understood the challenges of feeding and development, the genesis of this course stemmed from their own personal struggles and the realization that there was a glaring dearth of accessible information and resources for parents and caregivers.

The therapists, having weathered their own feeding and development challenges, observed a recurring pattern as families sought their guidance week after week. The common thread was the absence of readily available information, leaving parents in the dark about the signs to watch for and the necessary steps to seek help. Predominant issues such as painful breastfeeding, oral ties, improper latches, and inadequate weight gain became recurring themes. While not intended to substitute professional speech or feeding therapy, the course emerged as a valuable resource for parents and caregivers, providing them with a much-needed resource.

A central motivation behind the creation of Out Of The Mouth Of Babes was the desire to empower parents to recognize early signs of feeding and developmental challenges, allowing them to proactively seek assistance. Too often, parents found themselves disheartened and frustrated, receiving well-meaning but dismissive reassurances from care providers that their difficulties were normal or insurmountable.

In essence, the course serves as a beacon of support, demystifying the challenges parents and caregivers face and equipping them with the knowledge to advocate for their children's well-being. Out Of The Mouth Of Babes stands as a testament to the transformative potential of informed parenting, providing a compass for navigating the often bewildering landscape of early infant feeding and development.
